Happy Birthday Ann-Marie! I cannot believe you are 25....again! Why you agreed to become my friend after our first introduction, when I insisted you pick a name and stick with it, I'll never know! (Is is Ann or is it Marie...I'm confused!). In any event, meeting you and becoming your sister from another motha, is one of the best things that ever happened to me. Sugar Rush!

We attended a birthday party for one of Brody's classmates yesterday. Little man CJ is turning two today. The boys had a great time hunting Easter eggs...although it was unseasonable cold and windy outside for Florida! Then they had cake and ice cream, which Brody consumed without utensils for the most part...very nice table manners! He was on a sugar high for hours and bounced off the walls the majority of the evening!

We are going to a wedding reception this afternoon where there will be wedding cake...of the Publix...delicious...creamy...smooth...decident variety...oh' how I hope I can resist seeing as I am on a diet! I'll try .... but make no promises!!

Happily Ever After....!

My friend Amy and her new husband, Lane, just returned from a romantic honeymoon/renewal of their vows (sneaky sneaky...they secretly got married back in November). Isn't this the sweetest picture!! Despite a bit of scarlet fever, a few hives, a fever, a visit to a Hawaiian medical clinic, some shots and some antibiotics…o' and a luney new age -possibly possessed- minister who ‘married’ them...the newlyweds had a great time and plan to return for their fifth wedding anniversary! We look foward to celebrating with the happy couple this Sunday at a reception being held their honor. Here's to happily ever after!

Fun in the Park!

Yaya and Papa Jim came over for a visit yesterday and we headed to the park for some sliding, swinging and running around. I think Brody wore the grandparents out with his boundless energy. He did persuade Yaya and Papa Jim to take a trip down the slide. We caught this on film but everyone wasn't looking at the right time and we never got that perfect shot.
