Yee Haw Po-Boy!

We are all better after three days of ickiness. By Saturday we were 95% back to normal and today...all's clear! Yee Haw Po Boy (favorite new phrase which we believe is actually "Yee Haw Cowboy")!

102.5 never looked so cute...

One of the characters in the above picture woke up at 2 in the morning (yelling "I want my Mommy") with a fever of 102.5 and has continued to have a fever pretty much all day. Despite his jaundice glow, Ernie is not the one with the fever (I can't even tell you how long it took to get all Brody's "friends" lined up just so in order to get this picture..."no, you sit next to Cookie, Ernie." "No, you sit next to Elmo, Cookie." ... and on and on). Poor little man Brody is not feeling well today. We did run to the doctor today and for the low low price of around $120 they told us there was basically nothing wrong with him and to just keep giving him liquids and the famous Tylenol/Motrin cocktail. Lucky for him it's Happy Hour all day today so he's cashin' in on the drink special!

Happy 4th and 65th!

We were on the go all day yesterday! We headed over to Ann-Marie and Rob's place for a day of swimming and grilling out. We spent a lot of time in the pool splashing and playing with Auntie Joann, Robbie, Ann-Marie, and of course, little man Coop! It was also Pop and Phina's 65th wedding anniversary so a delicious cream cheese frosted cake was consumed by all! No one asked them specifically, but I am sure they would do it all over again! Phina had a small accident and had a cast on her arm so we thought it would be fun to put our John Hancocks all over it and surprisingly, she was up for it! Kimmy and Grant were in on the celebration as well via webcam! Little Grant is quite the firecracker! Cute as a button indeed!

After a short nap on the way home, Brody was ready for more. We went over to Donnie and Rachele's house for dinner and the boys ran around like chickens with their heads cut off for a while and then we headed out to watch fireworks. The boys sort of enjoyed the show. "Too Loud" was the overall consensus. Especially Bray Bray and Brody, who spent the majority of the time in the back of the truck.

We plan to have another day full of pool fun today!!

Animal Kingdom!

We have been on vacation this week and have been relaxing around the house and have taken a few trips over to the beach. On Wednesday, we headed out to Animal Kingdom for the day thanks to my friend Laura and her husband, Brian. Thanks again guys! We had a great time! Danny and I have been before but it was years and years ago. Brody had so much fun and he really did well considering we had him on the go all day. He was a bit afraid during the It's Tough to be a Bug show, but seemed to like Nemo the Musical and loved the safari ride. He also went nutso at the character meeting (He liked Minnie best, as you can see from the photo above were he was making out with her)! A fun day was had by all. We were wiped out after a full day of park adventure. We went way outside of our comfort zone with this trip to the park; but it was great fun!

A belated shout out to Ann-Marie and Rob who celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary yesterday. Our internet has been down (urgh) for what feels like days (it's only been one day) so I wasn't able to send them our best! Happy XOXO day and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow! for swimming and grilling out fun!!
