It's starting to look a lot like Christmas...especially when your mom makes you wear a Santa hat and chases you around taking your picture all the time!

We are headed to see Santa on Friday afternoon to request the "zoo animal" game. Brody has told me that a better idea is to just buy the game at the Costco store and take it to Santa to show him. We are going to stick with my idea and just tell Santa about it and tell him what a good boy Brody has been! I'm pretty sure Jolly Ol' St. Nick will get the game for the boy! xoxo

Party all the Time!

Busy busy Saturday for us. We had soccer in the morning and then celebrated Brody's 4th birthday with a small party. Brody had a great time and is currently in toy overload!

After a nap, we headed out for some trick or treating...grabbed a hot dog from the neighbors who always have hot dogs as their treat and grabbed all the candy the bucket would hold. After about two hours, Brody declared he was tired of Halloween!

We are heading to Disney tomorrow to continue the birthday celebration! Brody is so excited to see Mickey!

p.s. I also have to send out a big thanks to AMB for the cutest camera strap ever!! Handmade with lots of love! I lurve it!!

Spooky!

ELMO

Fun with Elmo! That's what we had today. Ann-Marie and Cooper came over and we celebrated Cooper's 2nd B-day by going to see Elmo at the UCF arena. Fun was had by all and when the show was over, Brody entertained Ann-Marie and Cooper by wearing all, and I do mean ALL, of his Halloween costumes from years gone by. We had to pry him out of the sweaty monkey costume. Cooper wanted no part of it, but we tried...he was the Count only for a moment!! No bad habits were taught to Coop...but I can't say we didn't try!!!! Next AMB...next time!! We lurve you guys! xoxo

Fall soccer season started this weekend...he promised he would play...he didn't...his season apparently starts next weekend...

and by the way...Fall, schmall...it's hot as ....! Will it ever cool down!?

The only thing missing is Pamela Anderson...and ear plugs...as this contraption may very well be the most annoying toy EVER!! He hasn't stopped "drilling" since we got the toy home and first thing out of his mouth this morning was "can I play with the drill"....I'm blaming you Uncle Robbie for this one!

Today we bought two $2.99 spatulas in the kitchen department at Target...we have been serving up Crabby Patties ever since (topless...at no extra charge). Best $6.00 we ever spent!! Now, who's gonna clean up the kitchen....!

Daddy!

Whooo Hooo. After a two week work trip, Daddy is home!! And he brought a Jack-in-the-box and a fire helmet!! Good job Daddy....the little birdy certainly sent you in the right direction b/c both are big hits! We spent today relaxing a bit and went to the mall to see G-Force and do a little shopping! I got a $400.00 purse for $15.00! Go me!! (I really spent more than that, but I had a gift card, so to me it's like the deal of the century to have only paid $15.00 in 'real money'!!!! Tomorrow we hope to be in the pool all day!

Vacation!

We are on vacation this week and spent a few nights at the Gaylord Palms. Really cool hotel, but not that much to do to entertain the little one. Interestingly, he had the most fun playing with the bar of soap in the bathroom sink. He asked to wash his hands constantly! He also enjoyed the octopus waterslide...until he fell while running to get back in line....all the while we were screaming "no running" in true parenting style! We are home today and then heading over to Ron Jon Resort for a couple of nights starting tomorrow. Thanks for the recommendation Amy! We also hope to hook up with Ann-Marie, Rob and little Cooper while we are over that way as well! Here's to vacation!

Brody spent this afternoon painting...combining colors...red and blue make purple (fyi). Paint all over your clothes comes out, right? Hopefully anyways! Tonight we hope to see a Magic victory here in O-town! Go MAGIC!!

Swimming

Brody started swim lessons this week and is doing great! It is amazing to watch the transition from only being in the water with the floaties to doing the spiderman walk along the side of the pool and just jumping in from where ever! Also, of special note, apparently, if you hold the title of "teacher" Brody pays extra close attention and listens to what you have to say. We will now go by Teacher Mom and Teacher Dad.

...and on a completely unrelated topic, I give you...Nicole Richie's future husband....can I get a "what what"... or a "boom boom boom"....

We are all done with our first season of soccer. Brody scored one goal and had the most fun running through the tunnel of people at the end of each game. Basketball/cheerleading clinic is in a few weeks...he might really like the cheerleading...but I think we are going to sit this one out!

Brody and I had a great afternoon today with Ann-Marie and Cooper. We went on our annual Easter Bunny visit and fun was had by all (except maybe Cooper when we were actually visiting the Bunny...not so much fun to him)...we even stopped for some ice cream because that's the way Ann-Marie and I roll. Thanks for coming over to visit guys we love you all! ;)

Today we told Brody he would get a surprise if he played soccer...totally worked and yes AMB, he loved the ice cream surprise! Worked like a charm! :) He still looks a bit more like a Rockette than Pele, but we'll take it!
