Who Loves Ya!

Brody and I had a great afternoon today with Ann-Marie and Cooper. We went on our annual Easter Bunny visit and fun was had by all (except maybe Cooper when we were actually visiting the Bunny...not so much fun to him)...we even stopped for some ice cream because that's the way Ann-Marie and I roll. Thanks for coming over to visit guys we love you all! ;)

Today we told Brody he would get a surprise if he played soccer...totally worked and yes AMB, he loved the ice cream surprise! Worked like a charm! :) He still looks a bit more like a Rockette than Pele, but we'll take it!

Opposites

Conversation while driving in the car with Yaya and Nana:

Brody: Daddy's car is big. Momma's car is small. That's opposite.

Conversation later that evening:

Momma: Brody, tell Daddy what you told me about opposites this morning.

Brody: I don't want to talk about opposites right now Momma.

Alrighty then....

Silly Fishing

Brody found a fishing pole we bought about a year ago and fished in the grass for about an hour today ... and then just got plain silly! You should have seen the one that got away!

Happy Birthday Ann-Marie! We have certainly mastered the art of self-portrait taking after all these years! I lurve you girl (insert crazy dance here)! Have a great day....you only turn 23 once or twice!

Week Two

Well this week was a bit better with soccer. We had a very rough start, but eventually Brody made it out on the field for a short time during the game. If you look closely at the first picture, Brody was the start kicker for the period and has the same Rockette kick...but at least he hit the ball and not someone's nose! We have two really good players on our team...two girls that must be all of 5...I think they scored all 9 of our goals between the two of them! Go Hawkeyes!
